Klaus is a marine expert with vast experience in container bid and contract negotiations with shippers and NVOCCs. He has extensive experience managing logistics from the perspective of both beneficial cargo owners and ocean carriers. As an international supply chain leader, he has a proven ability to positively impact the profitability of logistics networks.

At Eastman Chemical, he had overall responsibility for exports and imports encompassing fifteen manufacturing sites and over 45,000 TEUs per year. He led the contract and rate procurement for marine and air shipments, forwarding services, and trade compliance. Prior to Eastman, Klaus negotiated ocean freight rates for container shipping conglomerate CP-Ships, which has been absorbed into Hapag-Lloyd. He managed all aspects of export pricing for the Atlantic, Pacific, Latin America, Mediterranean, and Africa.
