Market Research Analyst

The role of Market Research Analyst provides research, analysis, data crunching, spreadsheet development, presentation development, and other critical support functions in collaboration with our teams of supply chain and logistics consultants solving complex business problems for a variety of clients and industries.  

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of quantitative & qualitative analysis techniques and research methods, is attentive to detail, and communicates well.  We prefer a candidate with 3+ years of relevant experience involving freight rail transportation plus one or more of PLG’s other core industry verticals.  Prior experience with consulting, transportation, and/or industrial real estate brokerage or development firms a plus.


Senior Consultant

We are seeking subject-matter experts who have a strong desire to help clients, enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting and thrive on applying their expertise and 5+ years of operational experience to design logistics and supply chain solutions.

We are particularly looking for SMEs with the following experience:

  • Plastics supply chain 
  • Frac sand sourcing and logistics
  • Bulk trucking 
  • TMS selection and implementation

Excellent communication skills are required, with an emphasis on clarity and accuracy.

Typical PLG projects do not involve extended time at client locations; travel expectation is 25-45%.

Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced, high caliber individual to manage various consulting projects and also help to set the direction, strategy, standards, and methods of our firm. The Project Manager leads teams of consultants to resolve complex business problems for a variety of clients in a variety of industries and directs, plans & implements the approach & objectives for the entire engagement. The role also includes managing the client relationship during the project and conferring with clients to set the strategic direction of the consulting engagement.
